The Plough puts on many special events throughout the year. Most are themed to that particular part of the season, and have proved to be extremely popular with our customers. However, some of our customers stage their own impromptu variations such as boot drinking and arm wrestling!

One of the specialities of The Plough is The BBQ- whether daytime or evening, any day and weekends! During the summer months we have put on over 30 in 2009.
The Plough has also successfully organised beer festivals with themed speciality beers from around the UK.
We understand the need for family facilities so have created special “Family Days”. To this effect, the garden has a permanently sited trampoline and we own a bouncy castle too. Enquire for details. All usage at the Parents/Guardian’s responsibility!
Some customers have also requested and booked specific themed events too. We try to accommodate most requests, and can suggest menus and ideas to put that extra sparkle into your event. See Plough Photos for a few past examples.
We can provide a private function room for parties up to 24, however larger parties can be accommodated, but only by specific arrangement.
We can cater for large groups even if it rains, as our good and loyal customers can testify!
Owing to the popularity of the events at The Plough, it is recommended that bookings be made in advance to avoid disappointment.
